Why I Paint on Canvas Board I stick with canvas board for everything. It’s sturdy, easy to frame, and ships like a dream. Plus, it doesn’t take up a ton of space while I work, or on your wall (which is important when your studio looks like an art supply hurricane). It also keeps prices consistent and fair. Commission Prices Here’s the breakdown:
- 8” x 10” — $75
- 12” x 16” — $175
- 16” x 20” — $250
That’s it. I don’t really do custom sizes, it throws off my groove. If you’re the math type, that averages out to around $0.88 per square inch. That covers paint, materials, coffee, and the time it takes to turn your idea into something weird and wonderful.
Why It Costs What It Does Each painting is a one-of-a-kind original. No prints, no copies, no AI, no shortcuts. You’re paying for my time, materials, and creative brainpower (which runs on caffeine, pop culture and chaos). And honestly, the biggest thing you’re paying for is trust, you’re giving me permission to take your idea and make it my own. That’s where the good stuff happens.
In a Nutshell If you like my style and want to see your favorite thing reimagined through my paint-splattered brain, I’m your guy. Give me the prompt. Sit back. Let me surprise you. That’s how I make the kind of art people actually want to hang up and how I stay excited to make it. Which is important to my ADHD (Late life diagnosis) addled brain!
